Marie Lamo Vikanes has been the State Secretary for the Minister of Defence, Bjørn Arild Gram, since June 2023. She held the position of political advisor to the Ministry of Defence from October 2021 until she transitioned into the position of State Secretary. Marie acquired her education from Queen Mary University of London as well as King’s College in London. She has also spent time working for the Norwegian Red Cross.
